From 5th to 30th December Rita Barbero, better known as Purpleryta, exhibits at La Vite Turchese in Barolo.
The collection of paintings dedicated to “messy hair women that know about Barolo” gains new pieces. Subjects are always women more busy to leave than to comb their hair, like the ones born for the previous exhibition in Cherasco. 8 new “wine on paper” female portraits of dreamers matched with 8 acrylic on canvas castles of the Langhe area, finished with light effects.
“This exhibit is an invitation to fly high, to meet ourself in our dreams that sometimes are very similar to us – tells Purpleryta – and at the same time is a homage to our region. Each wine on paper has a different color that becomes from the wine and each acrylic is the colored and simplifyed version of our castles”
The show host a photographic section with a selection of shots by russian photographer Alex Averin, friend of Purpleryta and Langhe who met the artist in the vineyards and in her new studio in Barolo
During the great opening of the art show Purpleryta will introduce the studio where the works of art born, an area completely dedicated to creativity and where more works of art are.
The art exhinition takes place in a wine temple, the Enoteca La Vite Turchese that hosts master pieces signed by Purpleryta since ever and everywhere. Also on the walls with a permanent decoration.
